Over the next few weeks the students will finish researching their person and create speeches and displays about them. Most of the work will be done in class, but there is one thing that your child will need to complete at home. They will need a costume. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, but it should include something distinguishing. For example, a person from Hawaii might wear a lei and a flowered shirt, or an astronomer might wear a lab coat and have a makeshift telescope. I’m not looking for fancy or expensive, just something to give us an idea of the person. There are also some pictures from past years below that might help give you some ideas.
